MEET THE OWNERS
Jon is a Vancouver-based director and producer known for his bold and emotionally-driven filmmaking style, synergy with his actors and technical expertise behind the camera. He has directed and produced internationally-screened shorts, documentary television and commercials. Recently, he wrote and directed his first feature film Woodland, and produced the Leo award-winning comedy series Android Employed. Jon is currently in-development on his second feature The Gameslayer, set in South America.
Born in Ecuador, and raised in the Middle East, Andy graduated from Vancouver’s Capilano University’s Cinematography program in 2004. He began his career in film working on several big-budget films and commercials as a member of IATSE Local 891. Andy quickly realized his passion for indie filmmaking, and began producing and shooting his own independent films. In 2017, Andy produced his latest feature film, Woodland, and was chosen to be the cinematographer on the original Netflix series Project MC2, which secured him an Agency contract with Integral Artists, based out of Vancouver.
Nolan has been in sales and marketing since 2002 and has worked in finance since 2006. He is passionate about all facets of filmmaking and has found a good balance inside Red Castle Films by combining his experience in commerce with his enthusiasm for the arts. As a Partner and Business Manager, Nolan is focused on acquiring and maintaining a multitude of professional relationships while establishing Red Castle Films as a premier company at the summit of the Vancouver Film Industry.
