Synopsis
Jon, a young First Nations man, is struggling to overcome addiction and avoid the multiple warrants out on him. But he has several strong women in his corner: his girlfriend, his sister, his mother, and his unborn daughter are all hoping that he can master his demons.

JON SILVERBERG
Jon’s award-winning independent feature WOODLAND premiered at Whistler Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, and was distributed worldwide. He has also worked with MTV, Universal Music, Bell Media, and the Associated Press.
ANDY HODGSON
Producer of indie features WOODLAND, BROTHER I CRY, and THE WHISPER OF SILENCE, and the creator of the short films EL COLOR NEGRO and EL MULATTO. Andy has also shot projects for Netflix, Hallmark, and Lifetime.
JESSIE ANTHONY
Jessie is a proud Haudenosaunee woman from the Onondaga Nation, Beaver clan. She is the award-winning director and writer of BROTHER I CRY, and the producer of QUERENCIA and EL COLOR NEGRO.
ALAYNA SILVERBERG
Alayna is an award-winning queer writer-director and multimedia artist known for her short film B-SIDE, a 90's coming of age story featuring an all-female cast of skateboarders. She is currently attending Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
