MEET THE OWNERS
Jon is known for his feature film WOODLAND, a psychological thriller starring Richard Harmon (CW's THE 100) - nominated for the Borsos Award for Best Canadian Feature at the Whistler Film Festival in 2018, and 8 Leo Awards in 2019. In 2020, the film was distributed on digital VOD in North America and in cinemas in Japan. Jon has directed several short films including 2015's DISAPPEARED and 2014's ECHO, both of which premiered at the Sci-Fi London Film Festival in the UK. He has also directed music videos for bands such as Mother Mother - with 2M views and counting. He is currently writing his next feature film.
Born in Ecuador, and raised in the Middle East, Andy graduated from Vancouver’s Capilano University’s Cinematography program in 2004. He began his career in film working on several big-budget films and commercials as a member of IATSE Local 891. Andy quickly realized his passion for indie filmmaking, and began to produce and shoot his own independent films. In 2017, Andy produced his latest feature film, WOODLAND, and was chosen to be the cinematographer on the original Netflix series PROJECT MC2. He is currently in post-production on two new feature films - BROTHER I CRY and the Spanish-language drama EL SUSPIRO DEL SILENCIO.
Nolan has been in sales and marketing since 2002 and has worked in finance since 2006. He is passionate about all facets of filmmaking and has found a good balance within Red Castle Films by combining his experience in commerce with his enthusiasm for the arts. As a Partner and Business Manager, Nolan is focused on acquiring and maintaining a multitude professional relationships in the film and screen-based media industry, while establishing Red Castle as a premier production company of Vancouver's independent film scene. Nolan was also co-producer on Red Castle's award-winning feature film WOODLAND.
